Temporary road closures in Nadi from today, Friday and Saturday

People in Nadi are expected to experience a delay in their travel following the temporary closures of some roads from today, Friday and Saturday.

The road closures are on the days prior to the arrival and the day of arrival of the United States Secretary of State, Antony J. Blinken next week.

Police say the temporary road closures for today will be from 1pm to 2pm and from 6pm to 7pm, on Friday from 1pm to 3pm and from 6pm to 8.30pm, and Saturday from 12.30pm to 2pm and from 7pm to 8pm.

They say the road closures will be in place for the roads from Nadi Town to Naisoso junction, including Nadi Back Road, Denarau Road, Narewa Road and Queens Road.

Police say drivers can expect a 20 to 30 minutes delay in their travel during the mentioned times.
