Energy Fiji Limited confirms their teams have been deployed this morning to look into specific areas of priority to restore power supply.

EFL says they will prioritize areas for restoration of power supply which are major hospitals & health centres, water pumping stations, Water & Sewerage Treatment Plants, central business districts, commercial and industrial areas, and residential areas.

EFL say they should have a clearer picture of things today with more of their teams physically being on the ground.

They say their teams in the various areas have been cautiously patrolling various areas to safely energise or de-energise the power lines depending on the circumstances.

Some parts of Viti Levu are still without power supply since yesterday.
