Teachers are permitted to leave work earlier today to watch the Fijian Drua matches as the Education Ministry is inviting all Suva teachers to demonstrate their support in Drua colours.

Permanent Secretary for Education, Selina Kuruleca says the Prime Minister has approved however it is essential to ensure the safe supervision and dispersal of students.

Kuruleca says staff members are granted leave to attend the games and it remains imperative to fulfill school duties until then while non-teaching staff are also welcome to take early leave to enjoy the matches.

She is encouraging teachers to inform their supervisors if they plan to watch the games.

The Drua Men will play the Hurricanes at 7.05pm tonight while the Drua Women will take on the Western Force at 4.35pm.

Both games will be held at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva today.
