Tazmin Jattan’s perfect Saturday movie plan with her husband was shattered as a fatal road accident in Valelevu, Nasinu yesterday afternoon took the life of her 30-year-old husband, Ashish Jattan.
Tazmin says they were supposed to go for movies with her mother and Jattan had taken the lead to show his motor bike to his nephews.
She says it was not long after Jattan had left that she was informed that he got into an accident.
Tazmin says she rushed from her Yasiyasi Road home and later proceeded to the CWM Hospital but did not get a chance to hear from Ashish.
Tazmin says Ashish had a heart made of gold and was a humble person.
Police investigations are continuing regarding this incident.
Initial information from Police states that Jattan was riding a motor bike heading towards Suva when he allegedly lost control and hit a taxi from the back.
The incident occurred near the Fiji National University bus stop in Valelevu.
He was rushed to the CWM hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
