A tax-free interim dividend of $3.33 million has been paid out to 24,000 investment account holders of Unit Trust of Fiji.

This payout is for the six months period ended 30 June 2021.

Unit Trust of Fiji Chairperson Shaenaz Voss says the company remains steadfast in its commitment to its unit holders during such a challenging time especially when their earnings power has been significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

She adds the team has worked tirelessly to ensure that their service and investor confidence are maintained at the highest possible standards.

Voss further says this payout is a testament of their commitment to provide the best competitive returns to their loyal unit holders.

She adds the payout is in addition to the $45 million dividends already distributed to unit holders from 2013 to 2020.
