For the first time Tavua town is now currently flooded.
Officer in charge Joseph Law confirmed that this the first time for flood waters to reach Tavua Town and its knee length.
It is currently raining very heavily in Tavua.

Special Administrator Ba, Arun Prasad said that at the moment it has been raining heavily there with strong winds.

Strong winds and heavy rains continue in Navakai and Wailoaloa areas currently.
A resident Abbas Ali said it is difficult to say how many residents are currently facing hardships as it is still dark but there are more than a 100 households in the nearby areas which is most likely affected by the heavy rain.
He said this rain is very usual for the residents as many are facing this situation for the first time.
Naitasiri
The people of Naitasiri have been advised to stay indoors during the current condition.
Roko Tui Naitasiri Peni Sokia said with the Rewa river rising people should stop traveling to flooded areas.
The Waima, Waila and Vatuwaqa bridges have been underwater since yesterday.
