The Tavua soccer team has lodged a complaint with police where it is alleged some players had their possessions stolen while they were on the field in a Vodafone Premier League match at Ratu Cakobau Park yesterday.
Tavua soccer President Pranesh Prakash says 7 players had their wallets, shoes, mobile phones and other items stolen while they were on the field.
Prakash says they have reported the matter to Nausori police.
He says the team will have a meeting today to determine all the items stolen from the players.
Tavua created a major upset yesterday by defeating Fiji FACT champion Rewa 2-1.
