35 youths from the Taro Youth Club have received a boost after receiving a 19-foot fiberglass boat and farming equipment from the Ministry of Youth. While speaking at the handover ceremony held at Taro Village in Bau-Tailevu, Minister for Youth and Sports, Parveen Bala, says the boat represents the continued commitment of the government to all Fijians, especially the youth, women and children.

He says this also highlights the mutual alignment of the goals and priorities of the Government.

Bala also highlighted the government assistance is not short-term and adds they have been implementing innovative ways to combat the pandemic.

Also present at the handover ceremony was Ratu Epenisa Cakobau.
