The Tailevu Rugby Union is still waiting for a decision by the FRU’s Special tribunal.

Tailevu President Maika Rainima said they presented to the tribunal which is made up of Tomasi Vuetilovoni and Paula Cavu but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Rainima added all they ask for is that the decision will be based according to the rules and regulations.

Meanwhile, Namosi Team Manager Lemeki Rokovesa also said they are also waiting for the decision but they are not sure when it will be made.

The Special tribunal was established by the FRU to make a final decision on appeals made by Tailevu and Nadroga Rugby Unions after their protests were disallowed by the FRU.

The tribunal will decide whether Namosi or Tailevu will feature in the semifinals of the Digicel Cup.

A Digicel Cup semifinal is expected to be played this weekend.

Nadi, Nadroga, Suva and Namosi are the top four teams at the moment but if the tribunal’s decision goes in Tailevu’s favor then they will replace Namosi in the semis.
