TLTB warning public about a person named Zameer claiming to be TLTB staff

The iTaukei Land Trust Board warns people that a person by the name of Zameer, which may not be his real name, has been visiting a few places in Nausori in the Central Division claiming to be working for the TLTB Korovou Office.

TLTB says it has also been brought to their attention that “Zameer” recently visited residents of Vuci South Road and allegedly told residents that he was working with TLTB’s Team Leader for the Korovou Office in the leasing of land within that area.

TLTB says it must be understood that all TLTB officers going onto the field must carry proper TLTB identification cards, all lease applications and land dealings on iTaukei land must involve TLTB, all payments should be made with any TLTB cashier, and official TLTB receipts must be issued for any payments made.

If any member of the public has any information of or has come into contact with “Zameer” please report this to the FICAC Office immediately.
