TLTB staff suspended

The iTaukei Land Trust Board is conducting an internal investigation relating to the alleged involvement of an officer in a land deal.

TLTB General Manager Alipate Qetaki said TLTB and the landowning unit in the West have held their discussions to try and solve the matter.

Qetaki said one of his staff from the Western office has been suspended pending further investigation.

The Tokatoka Nakelo of Viseisei, Vuda claim that their land was leased to a private company without their consent.
