The iTaukei Land Trust Board is still waiting for a response regarding the extension of the Nausori Airport.
This is after TLTL had sent an offer letter to Airports Fiji Limited in March this year.
TLTB General Manager Alipate Qetaki said they want the relevant authorities to reach an agreement which will benefit the landowners, AFL and government.
Qetaki said the landowners grievances such as the lease, employment and compensation are their main priorities.
He highlighted the issue at the Tailevu Provincial Council meeting yesterday after concerns were raised by the landowners from Natogadravu and Naselai in Tailevu.
Roko Tui Tailevu Semisi Saukawa said the landowners have done their own capital project such as tourism and housing as AFL is still prolonging the arrangement on the project.
The acquisition of the 91 acres of land for the redevelopment of Nausori Airport will cost $60 million.
