TISI Sangam Nasinu’s project of constructing the first-ever largest community hall in Nasinu which has a capacity of 2,000 people has started.
While speaking at the foundation laying ceremony, the Founder of Nasinu Sangam School and the National President of TISI Sangam Fiji, Sadasiwan Naicker says the hall is a three-story building where two floors will comprise of 12 classrooms and one floor will be the hall.
Naicker says the main reason for constructing this hall is because so far there is no large hall in Nasinu to host events.
He says classrooms are also constructed in the building as the student roll of Nasinu Sangam School has significantly increased over the years from 121 from when the school first began to almost 1,000 students now.
Naicker says the project is worth $2.3 million and is funded through BSP loan and TISI Sangam Nasinu.
Light Green Real Estate is the main contractor for the project while Intergral Energy will be carrying out electrical works and Narayan Plumbing will carry out the plumbing works.
