The Nadi Weather Office says expect rain to continue today and there will also be some strong winds.
It says rain will become heavy at times today if you live in Viti Levu and Vanua Levu so please continue to take precautions as flash flood warnings are still in place.
If you live along the coastal areas of Viti Levu and Vanua Levu please also note that coastal sea flooding should be expected.
Western Part of Viti Levu
Expect the winds to gradually ease from later today as TC Sarai moves further away from the Western Division.
Expect the rain to gradually ease as well.
A flash flood warning remains in force for low lying areas, small streams and areas adjacent to major rivers in the Western Division and Northern Division.
Eastern Part of Viti Levu and Lomaiviti group
Expect rain to gradually increase from later today as the rain bands associated with TC Sarai moves onto the Eastern Part of Viti Levu.
Expect strong winds as TC Sarai moves closer to Kadavu.
A flash flood warning remain in force for low lying areas, small streams and areas adjacent to major rivers in the Central Division.
Expect damaging gale force winds if you live in Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni, Yasawa, Mamanuca group and Lomaiviti Group and nearby smaller islands, Moala, Totoya, Cicia, Nayau, Lakeba and the Southern Lau Group.
Expect damaging gale force winds several hours before the centre of the system passes overhead or nearby.
Winds can damage trees or trees can get uprooted, there can be damage to weak structures and winds can blow over unsecured objects.
Power lines can also be affected that can result in power loss.
Please also note that coastal sea flooding can be expected during high tide if the centre of the system passes nearby.
