India’s Suryakumar Yadav made an unbeaten half-century to help his side secure a seven-wicket win over co-host United States in the T20 Cricket World Cup this morning and qualify for the Super 8s.
India finished with 113 runs in 18.2 overs while USA finished with 110 runs in 20 overs.
United States will also qualify for the Super 8s if they avoid defeat in their final Group A match against Ireland in Florida on Friday, or if the game is rained off.
Meanwhile, India is currently leading Group A with 6 points followed by USA also with 4 points, Pakistan is third with 2 points while Canada is fourth with 2 points.
