Pakistan has kept their slim hopes of qualifying for the T20 World Cup Super 8s alive with a seven-wicket win over Canada in New York this morning.
Muhammad Rizwan made a steady unbeaten half-century for Pakistan.
They now must beat Ireland in their final group match, improve their net run-rate in the process and hope results elsewhere go their way to finish in the top two of Group A.
Pakistan will face Ireland at 2.30am next Monday.
Meanwhile, India is currently leading Group A with 4 points followed by USA also with 4 points, Canada is third with 2 points while Pakistan is fourth with 2 points.
India will take on United Sates at 2.30am tomorrow.
