Swire Shipping is the naming sponsor for the Fijian Drua

Swire Shipping’s Regional Manager for the Pacific Islands Alex Pattison and Interim Drua CEO Brian Thorburn.

Swire Shipping has signed a two year deal with the Fijian Drua as their naming and branding sponsor.

The team will be known as Swire Shipping Fijian Drua.

While making the announcement, Interim Drua CEO, Brian Thorburn says Swire Shipping has been a sponsor for Fiji Rugby since 2017.

Thorburn says they have contracted 34 players so far and they are aiming to register 6 more.

Thorburn also says he wants to assure fans that the team will be fit and strong to start the campaign in February next year.

Swire Shipping’s Regional Manager for the Pacific Islands Alex Pattison says today marks one of the biggest milestones in Fijian rugby.

Pattison says they are proud to be part of this milestone.

Their jersey was also unveiled tonight.

The Drua begin their inaugural Super Rugby campaign against the Blues in February next year.
