Sweden has secured a place in the knockout stage of the FIFA Women's World Cup after thrashing Italy 5-0 last night at the Wellington Regional Stadium.
The 2019 semi-finalist had put up a spectacular match as they were determined to demolish their rivals.
Amanda Ilestedt, Fridolina Rolfo, Stina Blackstenius and Rebecka Blomqvist scored for the team.
Amanda Ilestedt was star of the match as she scored her second goal in the 50th minute.
Meanwhile, Sweden is currently leading Group G with 6 points followed by Italy with 3 points followed by South Africa and Argentina with 1 point each.
In other matches, France won 2-1 against Brazil while Jamaica edged Panama 1-nil.
In today's matches,South Korea will play Morocco at 4.30pm, Norway will play Philippines at 7pm, Switzerland to face New Zealand at 7pm while Germany to take on Colombia at 9.30pm.
