Suva has won another gold medal to increase their lead in the overall medal tally with 8 gold, 3 silver and 9 bronze at the 2019 FMF Chow Games.
Ilisapeci Doladei of Suva claimed gold in the Girls Under 14 Shot Put with a throw of 10.01 metres.
Nadroga/Navosa is in second place in the overall tally with 6 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze while Ra is third with 5 gold, 5, silver and 2 bronze.
In the Boys division, Nadroga/Navosa leads the medal tally with 5 gold, Suva is second with 4 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze while Ra is still in the third spot with 2 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze.
Meanwhile, Suva is leading the Girls division with 4 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze, Nadi is second with 3 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze and Ra is third with 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.
Doladei says her achievement today is the result of the long hours of training that she has been doing for the past few weeks.
She says the support from her family has been the driving force for her to achieve greater things in this competition and she hopes that it will be an inspiration to other females that nothing is impossible if they put in the hardwork.
Doladei dedicated her win to her parents, coaches, teachers and friends who have supported her through her preparation.
