The Suva Kaji rugby team is in the finals of the Fiji Primary School Rugby Kaji competition from the U-9 to the U-13 grades after winning their respective semifinals this morning.
In the U-9 grade the Suva Blues team beat Naitasiri South 7-5 in a close game while the U-10 team defeated Tailevu South 12-nil.
The capital city boys U-11 side proved too strong for Naitasiri winning by 14-5 while the U-12 side had a 21-nil win against Northland.
The U-13 Suva team is so far the most impressive team in the tournament after a 42-nil win against Naitasiri.
Suva will play Northland in the U-9 final, the U-10 side will meet Naitasiri and the U-11 and U-12 Suva teams will take on Tailevu.
The Suva 13 side will play either Tailevu or Northland in the final.
The competition continues at Ratu Cakobau Park with the finals scheduled for this afternoon.
In the Western Kaji tournament the U-9 semifinal will feature Cakaudrove and Nadi while Macuata meets Naviti.
The U-10 grade will see Cakauadrove playing Lautoka and Macuata playing Nadi 2.
The rest of the grade semifinals will be confirmed in the next hour.
