The Suva High Court has discontinued former Suva lawyer Shazran Abdul Lateef's constitutional redress case against the Office of the Attorney General, the State and the Suva Remand Centre.
Lateef told High Court Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe that he had initially filed the case in relation to his bail not being granted.
He asked the High Court leave to withdraw the application since he has since been granted bail.
Lateef has since been granted bail on a $5,000 cash bail bond and he has to report to Raiwaqa Police Station daily.
This is in relation to Lateef's latest case where he was allegedly found with 0.0063 grams of methamphetamine at his Nailuva home on the 14th of August this year.
