Supply to be fully normalised in all areas by tomorrow morning - WAF

After concerns were raised by residents living along the Suva – Nausori corridor, Water Authority of Fiji says supply to the following reservoirs and supply area will be fully normalised after they resolved the issue with one of the 5 raw water pumps that was impacting the Waila Water Treatment Plant's production.

WAF says these areas should have normalised from 6pm last night and they are the elevated areas of Nakasi, Davuilevu, Makoi, Nepani, Navosai, Narere, Koronivia Road, Koronivia School, Ratu Dovi Rd, Nepani, Nadawa, Nasole, Pilling, Muanikoso.

They further say all feeding from the Kalabu Reservoir should have normalised by 8 this morning which includes - Valelevu, Caqiri, Nawanawa, Koka, Kinoya Road, Vasant Lal Vesivesi, Yasiyasi, Upper Duvula, Laubu, Upper Maqbool, Nasinu Rd, Kalabu, Clifton rd, Lagakali, UCI Place.

WAF says supply should be fully restored by 8 tomorrow morning in the elevated areas of upper Makoi, Kaliveitau, Veitata, Tovata Road, Qaranivalu, Lomalagi, Vula, Poorva, Sabera, Peela, Caubati Koro, Daniva, Cunningham (Valley Drive and Sulua Street), Niubalavu, Raikiwai, Niuvula, Niusawa Lane, Tacirua East (Tasman Tank), Cunningham, Khalsa Road, Balabala Crescent, Wakanisila

They further say the upper Nagatugatu System is still on the rationing period from 4am to 10am and for 4pm to 8pm will be depending on the Reservoir levels.

Water carting trucks will be on standby and can be requested in the case of an emergency by calling 5777.
