Super Son stuns Man City in the opening round

Tottenham has beaten defending champions Manchester City 1-0 in their first match of the new English Premier League campaign this morning.

Winger Son Heung-min fired in the winning goal in the second half.

Tottenham were without striker Harry Kane who is believed to be pushing for a transfer to City.

It was also a first start for City’s 100 million winger Jack Grealish.

In another match this morning West Ham beat Newcastle United 4-2.

Manchester United is currently leading the points table on better goal difference after the first round.
