Blues beat Hurricanes 30-20

The Blues beat the Hurricanes 30-20 in front of more than 40,000 fans at Eden Park.

The match also marked the debut of Beauden Barrett for the Blues.

The Blues scored the first try through Caleb Clarke. TJ Faiane and Dalton Papalii scored further tries for the Blues.

Meanwhile, Dane Coles, Ben Lam and Jamie Booth scored the tries for the Hurricanes.

In the other game last night the Highlanders beat the Chiefs 28- 27.

Looking at the fixtures for next week, the Blues will face the Chiefs at 7.05pm Saturday while the Crusaders will face the Hurricanes at 3.35pm Sunday.
