Super 7s Series: Vakurunabili guides Wardens to 33-5 win over Eastern Saints while Nacuqu shines for Police Blue

National 7s captain Josua Vakurunabili scored 2 tries to guide Wardens to a 33-5 win over Eastern Saints in their second game of the Fun Flavour Super 7s Series.

Vakurunabili got his first try from an intercept inside Saints half and was set up for his second try by former national 7s rep Amenoni Nasilasila.

Meanwhile, Waisea Nacuqu scored two tries to help Police Blue beat Dominion Brothers 36-5 in their second pool game.

In other results: Raiwasa Taveuni beat Stallions 24-7, Uluinakau beat Fire 24-12, Wardens beat Wadigi Salvo 15-12, Army beat Police White 21-12, Barbarians beat Eastern Saints 19-17 and Tabadamu beat Nawaka 33-0.

The men’s cup quarter-finals will start at 10.30am tomorrow, the semi-finals will be at 2pm tomorrow and the final will be at 6pm tomorrow.
