Leading Pacific solar energy provider Sunergise has installed an 88 KiloWatts roof mounted solar photovoltaic array at International School Suva.
Director of Sunergise Fiji Ajay Raniga, says the system will help the school promote sustainable energy and future technological development while saving on power costs.
Raniga says ISS is undergoing extensive modernization which is part of a development program that is designed to help position the school and its students for a bright future.
He says the system will displace over 78 tons of carbon dioxide every year ‑ the equivalent of planting more than 2000 trees.
Meanwhile, ISS Principal Anna Marsden says their curriculum is focused on building skills to assess and respond to the world's challenges, and to develop responsible global citizens.
