Five days remain for Lautoka city to be filled with fun and festivity as the 2015 Telecom Fiji Sugar Festival is set to kick off this Saturday.
Festival Committee President, Pushp Raj said this year’s festival will be slightly different from other years.
Raj said a competition is also being organized by food stalls where the winner will be awarded certificates and shields.
He said this will ensure that people will get the best and most hygienic food.
There will be seven queen contestants vying for Miss Telecom Fiji Sugar Festival crown this year.
The Telecom Fiji Sugar Festival will be held at the Churchill Park Carnival ground from 19th to the 26th of this month.
