University of the South Pacific Triple Gold medalist Shirleen Sahai

University of the South Pacific Triple Gold medalist Shirleen Sahai says studying was the only option for her as she wanted to be productive.

Sahai says all her hard work and efforts in the last three years has finally paid off, graduating with a Double major in Psychology and Sociology.

She says she felt amazed as she did not really expect three gold medals in her graduation year.

Sahai says her family was always there for her and they were part of the success.

She also advises those students continuing with their studies that their success is in their hands and that at the end of the day it is a solo effort with all the assignments and exams that need to be completed and handed in before the deadline.

Meanwhile, 1680 students graduated from the University of the South Pacific last Friday with certificates, diplomas and degrees.
