The Fiji National University says it is applying flexibility to deadlines for assessments and the format of the assessments themselves to support all students during these difficult times.

FNU Vice-Chancellor Professor Toby Wilkinson says students will be allowed to complete their assessments with flexibility throughout the semester, quarter and trimester.

FNU students taking semester classes have been on study break this week in preparation for their exams.

From Monday, FNU students will undergo two weeks of exams.

Wilkinson says students experiencing difficulties can contact their College Dean and the Office of the Registrar.

He is also urging students to get vaccinated if they get the opportunity.

Wilkinson says he was delighted to get his first shot of the vaccine in April and he is really looking forward to receiving his second shot in early July.
