Students of Gospel School for the Deaf in Samabula were all smiles when they received their Christmas gifts from Vodafone Fiji.

Vodafone Fiji Sponsorship Manager, Adriu Vakarau says they were supposed to give these gifts last year but it was cancelled due to Cyclone Yasa.

The gift packs include stationery kits and books.

Gospel School for the Deaf Principal, Nirmala Mudaliar says the students were excited to receive their gifts as they were looking forward to the Christmas tree lighting last year, but were disappointed when it was cancelled due to TC Yasa.

Mudaliar says the students were also excited as some of them do not own some items in the gift packs.
