The State of Victoria in Australia has recorded the deadliest day of the COVID-19 Pandemic, with 25 fatalities and 282 new cases overnight.

The number of fatalities is the heaviest recorded in a single day for the pandemic.

9 News reports the grim milestone brings the total deaths in Australia from COVID-19 to more than 400.
