St Joseph’s Lagi dedicates gold medal win to her mother

Adi Kula Lagi, who has won gold in the senior girls triple jump event for Saint Joseph's Secondary School has dedicated her win to her mother.

In an interview with fijivillage News, Lagi says they had to get up at 3.30am for training at 4am at the HFC Bank Stadium.

With the Oceania Athletics Championships coming up and the announcement of the Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics team, Lagi says she hopes she gets picked.

She says if selected, she will be working on her techniques.

Meanwhile, Adi Keva Inoke of Christian Mission Fellowship College won silver while Akanise Coa won bronze for Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School.
