Sri Lankan President, Maithripala Sirisena has moved to sack the defence secretary and inspector general of police following the admittance of a major intelligence lapse before the Easter Sunday Bombings.
The bombings claimed the lives of 359 people and injured more than 500 people.
The Sri Lankan Parliament was told that an Indian intelligence warning from the beginning of the month about planned attacks was not properly shared by the authorities.
Eight of the nine attackers involved have been identified as Sri Lankan citizens.
