Special Police Constable, William McKay who was allegedly found in possession of 40.07 kilograms of marijuana at his Raiwaqa home, has had his case adjourned for plea on the amended charges to 16th April.
McKay appeared before Magistrate Pukeria Low this morning.
The amended charge is one count of unlawful possession of marijuana.
McKay's bail has been extended as well to 16th April.
6,037 branches of marijuana were allegedly found at his home during a raid at Tamasua Street, off Nailuva Road.
The bags of marijuana were found under the constable’s bed.
