Speaker rules that there is 'No breach of privilege' by the PM against SODELPA MP Tabuya

SODELPA MP, Lynda Tabuya and Speaker of Parliament, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau
Speaker of Parliament Ratu Epeli Nailatikau has ruled that there is no breach of privilege by the Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama which was filed by SODELPA MP, Lynda Tabuya yesterday.
Ratu Epeli says Tabuya had said that the Prime Minister had allegedly made a personal attack on her during the debate in parliament on Wednesday.
The Speaker says he has reviewed the video footage of parliament on that day and he has ruled that there is no breach of privilege.
Speaking outside parliament, Tabuya says she respects the Speaker’s ruling however she is looking at the option of lodging a Police report.
