Spain and Japan are the first teams to qualify for the quarter final of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Spain has reached the quarter final for the first time after beating Switzerland 5-1 last night while 2011 champions, Japan beat Norway 3-1.
Japan will play either defending champions the United States or Sweden in the quarter final while Spain will play the winners of tonight’s match between the Netherlands and South Africa.
Netherlands take on South Africa at 2pm today while the United States take on Sweden at 9pm.
