Former England Captain Alan Shearer says he has no doubt at all that Gareth Southgate should stay on as England manager to take them to the 2024 European Championship.
Shearer says he know Southgate hasn't delivered the trophy they wanted in Qatar, but they have to look at the bigger picture.
He says not only about how they have played at this tournament but also the progress they have made during his six years in charge.
Shearer also says they were a shambles when Southgate took over in 2016 and it had felt like they were going nowhere.
He adds they had been a laughing stock under Roy Hodgson at the Euros earlier that year and then had to contend with the embarrassment of Sam Allardyce's exit when it had felt like things could not get any worse.
England lost to France 2-1 in the FIFA World Cup quarter-final.
Meanwhile, in the first semi-final, Argentina will take on Croatia on Wednesday at 7am, while France will take on Morocco on Thursday at the same time.
