South African coach Rassie Erasmus says his team has erased their shocking loss to Japan in the 2015 Rugby World Cup as they prepare to face the hosts in the quarter-final this Sunday.
Erasmus says their 41-7 win against Japan in their pre-tournament warm-up game has exorcised the ghosts of 2015.
He says the reason for that Japan warm-up game was to erase their loss in 2015.
He adds Japan is a well-balanced team and it is difficult to single one out as they are a formidable team.
Erasmus says that he will be using a different game plan this Sunday, from the kicking game they had done during their pre-tournament warm-up match last month.
In the Rugby World Cup quarterfinals, Australia will face England at 7.15pm this Saturday, the All Blacks take on Ireland at 10.15pm this Saturday while France will play Wales at 7.15pm this Sunday.
Japan will face South Africa in the last quarterfinal at 10.15pm this Sunday.
