Sotutu scores hattrick in Blues' 37-29 win over Highlanders

All Blacks rep and Blues number 8 Hoskins Sotutu scored a hat-trick to help his Blues side secure a 39-29 win over the Highlanders in their Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific Super Round match.

Sotutu scored in the 6th, 42nd and 62nd minute of the match.

He ran a total of 67 metres in 7 runs and beat 3 defenders.

Meanwhile, Jacob Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens and Timoci Tavatavanawai scored a try each for the Highlanders.

The game went into halftime with the Blues leading 22-15.

Blues has also also secured 5 points on the points table while the Highlanders' losing streak to NZ sides has extended to 17 consecutive losses.

In another match last night, Fiji born winger Filipo Daugunu scored a try for the Rebels as they beat the Force 48-34.

Meanwhile, Swire Shipping Fijian Drua play Moana Pasifika at 6pm today, the Crusaders face the Waratahs at 8.35pm today, the Chiefs will play the Brumbies at 3pm tomorrow, while the Hurricanes will meet the Reds at 5.30pm tomorrow.
