All Black loose forwards Hoskins Sotutu and Dalton Papalii return to the Blues starting line-up to form a potent back row with in-form Tom Robinson, who retains the captaincy.

With the top two teams to qualify for the final, the Blues will be chasing victory to remain in the title hunt, with the side focused on an improved performance against the powerful Brumbies line-up.

Coach Leon MacDonald says they know what is at stake and they have three tough games to finish this competition.

Other players in the starting line up are Otere Black, Reiko Ioane, Bryce Heem and Kurt Eklund.

In the Super Rugby Trans-Tasman this weekend, the Hurricanes will face Western Force at 7.05pm tomorrow, the Waratahs will host the Crusaders at 5.05pm Saturday, the Blues will face the Brumbies at 7.15pm Saturday, the Chiefs will play the Reds at 9.45pm Saturday and the Highlanders will take on the Rebels at 2.35pm Sunday.
