As the opening ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, India is around the corner some states have declared the day a public holiday to commemorate the event.
Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Chhattisgarh and Haryana are some of the states that have declared public holidays on the grand opening day.
Ayodhya is the birthplace of Lord Rama.
The opening will take place next Monday and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the temple and more than 7,000 people are expected to attend the ceremony.
The temple is 360 feet long and 235 feet wide, with a total built-up area of 57,400 square feet.
The stones used to build the temple are unique, with a groove cut into each stone and no cement joining the stones together.
