Commissioner Northern Uraia Rainima says they still believe they can handover all schools undergoing temporary fixes to the Education Ministry by Monday.
He says the Australian Defence Force personnel have now been cleared and they will be a major boost in the temporary fixes being carried out on schools.
Rainima says the Australian Defence Force personnel were already working on Galoa Island and now they will have new areas and schools to work on.
Rebuilding works are underway on 32 schools that were classified by the government as priorities.
These schools will also be fumigated by the Ministry of Health officials before the start of the new school year on the 19th of this month.
