Some homes in Baidamudamu village in Kadavu have been damaged by the destructive winds brought by Tropical Cyclone Ana.
The homes had their rooftops blown away.
Paula Tabualevu of Baidamudamu village says they began experiencing strong winds and heavy rain from 11am yesterday and the weather started to ease at 6pm yesterday.
Tabualevu says three families are currently taking shelter at the village church.
He say they are fortunate that no one was injured.
