Small things matter in big games, and that is what Highlanders first five-eighth Mitch Hunt said that the Southerners would be looking to achieve in tomorrow's Super Rugby Trans-Tasman final against the Blues in Auckland.
Hunt says the small things which will matter is making fewer penalties, making the least errors, and being the tidiest around their game plan.
He says they are focusing on that and they know what the Blues are going to bring which is stock standard.
Hunt says having played in finals before has helped him to calm his nerves and to settle into his role in games.
The Blues will take on the Highlanders in the Super Rugby Trans-Tasman final at 7.05pm tomorrow.
