An additional 1,527 micro and small business entrepreneurs in Labasa today were delighted having received their $1,000 Micro and Small Business Grants.
While disbursing the grants, Minister for Industry and Trade Faiyaz Koya told the recipients that they make up the Micro and Small Business Grants sector, the backbone of the Fijian economy.
Koya told the 1,527 recipients that their commitment and passion to furthering their business contributes significantly to the growth of Fiji.
The event marks the 40th phase of disbursement since 2015 – and the 2nd disbursement in Labasa this week.
