Sivo makes impressive NRL return playing a hand in the Eels win over the Roosters

Fiji’s very own Maika Sivo helped the Parramatta Eels produce one of the best performances of the season as they defeated the Sydney Roosters 26-16.

In a complete contrast to their lacklustre performance against the Bulldogs, Parramatta's forwards overpowered their rivals and their backs capitalised as the Eels piled on five razzle dazzle tries.

Fiji winger Maika Sivo made an impressive return to the NRL after a knee reconstruction and finished what was arguably the try of the year after a movement involving 12 sets of hands in the first half.

In other NRL matches played last night, the Panthers thrashed the Warriors 40-6 and the Sharks beat the Titans 18-10.

Today the Raiders take on the Knights at 4pm, while the Bulldogs meet the Wests Tigers at 6.05pm.
