Vodafone Fiji Bati star Maika Sivo has revealed that his manager is in talks with other clubs following Parramatta Eels’ statement that they have released the star winger from his contract for the 2025 season to pursue opportunities that will allow him to further his career elsewhere.
Sivo earlier told fijivillage News this week that he is not leaving the Eels for the next two years.

This was after he was asked whether the comments by Bulldogs’ General Manager Phil Gould that he is joining England’s Super League side Leeds Rhino was true.
The 31-year-old later on confirmed today that he is in search of a new club and his manager is talking to a few clubs overseas.
Sivo also confirmed that his manager is in talks with the Rhinos and the recent rumour of him moving to the Super League and reuniting with his former coach Brad Arthur is looking to become true.
When asked how he feels about leaving the Eels, Sivo says the club will always have a special place in his heart as it is his second home.
He says he also promised himself that he will not play against the club that has done so much for him and his family.
Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill extended the club’s deepest gratitude to Sivo for his time with them and wished him well for the future.
O’Neill says Sivo will always be a part of the Eels family, and they look forward to seeing him succeed in the next chapter of his career.
Meanwhile, Sivo will be lining up for the Bati in this weekend’s round 2 of the Pacific Rugby League Bowl Championship clash against the Cook Island Aitu in Suva.
The Bati will take on Aitu at 8.10pm this Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
