The stop departure order that was earlier issued for Fiji Bati rep, Maika Sivo has been lifted by the Nadi Magistrates Court meaning Sivo can now travel overseas.
It is alleged that Sivo indecently assaulted a 26-year-old woman on Boxing Day at one of the hotels in Nadi.
Sivo has also pleaded not guilty to a count of Indecent Assault.
Sivo who plays for Parramatta Eels had made an application for bail variation which was granted by the court today.
The court granted the application and made an order that Sivo deposits $2,500 to the Court registry.
Sivo’s two sureties, the General Manager of Parramatta Eels, Mark O'Neill and Eels Welfare Officer, Greg Alfred Bolea were present in the Nadi Magistrates Court today.
The court has also ordered that Sivo has to surrender his Fijian passport at the Fiji Consulate in Sydney a day after his arrival in Australia.
The trial date is yet to be fixed and Sivo has also been excused for the next court sitting.
