A visiting team of Chinese surveyors and designers have begun site evaluations and visits to the proposed Vunidawa Sports Complex site in Naitasiri.
This is after five agreements were signed between the Chinese Government and the Fijian Government for the construction of the Vunidawa Sporting Complex.
The Chinese Government is responsible for the design of the project, provision of needed construction machinery, equipment and materials along with the dispatching of the necessary number of engineers and technicians to Fiji to carry out the construction.
The complex is set to hold a maximum capacity of 4,500 seats.
