Sisters from Vanuatu win Gold in Suva Grammar Inter-House

Blue House maintains lead

The David sisters from Vanuatu have won gold in their respective events in the Suva Grammar School Inter-House competition.

Claudie David who is in Year 10, clocked 26.58 seconds in the Junior Girls 200 meters final while her elder sister Chloe David clocked a time of 27.32 seconds in the Inter Girls 200 metres.

Their aim is to win gold at the Coca-Cola Games this year and one day become professional athletes.

They say they have been training after the restrictions were lifted.

Meanwhile, the Blue House still leads the SGS inter-house medal tally with 18 gold, 14 silver and 16 bronze.

In the second position is Yellow House with 18 gold, 14 silver and 8 bronze while in the third position is Red House with 11 gold, 13 silver and 16 bronze.

In fourth place is Green house with 11 gold, 13 silver and 16 bronze.
